After looking around for a while we never found a decent restaurant in the area. We ended up lunching at PicNic and it was the best decision! I strongly recommend going there for your lunch if you are in town, it is way better than any restaurant on the street where everything is fried food or not-fresh and tasteless salads. I did not go on the picnic experience. But I bought a $15 sandwich.. FIFTEEN.. that was most likely 2 days old. I bought a Fig Brie Sandwich, you would think they would warm up the sandwich so the cheese at least melts. The bread was stale, coming to its end of life, they spread fig jam, spread walnuts and gave me COLD BRIE CHEESE. Can you imagine what that tastes like? Awesome store! Very helpful with our cheeses selections! My service dog Finn was a big fan of the store…the cow, not so much but too cute not to share! We look forward to enjoying some more of your goodies next time we’re in town! Highly recommend!
Stumbled across this lovely shop while visiting Niagara yesterday. The selection of cheeses, meats, crackers yummy accompaniments was fantastic! The best part of the visit was owner Xavier who offered samples, cheesy jokes, and a wealth of knowledge about cheese. He spent so much time with my friends and I at closing time at the end of a busy day. Passionate, knowledgeable and kind. If you’re visiting Niagara on the Lake this shop is a must!
Come see Cheese Secrets at Megalomaniac Winery! Fantastic food including gourmet grilled cheese and a feature of raclette!

Grabbed the pack to maximize our touring time. The freshly made sandwiches and sides were fantastic.
