I'm used to the service and food of American IHOP (Henderson, Nevada namely) food was pretty good,, but unfortunately the service lacked on this visit! Maybe just a bad day for the staff, but I'm not sure, but definitely not the norm! View all feedback.
What Allen bullard doesn't like about Wyndham Garden Niagara Falls Fallsview:
You are Paying for the view! Like many others that left reviews, when you see the menu prices, they will seem extremely high USD for an IHOP breakfast, but remember your over looking Niagara Falls. We didn’t need reservations as we were able to walk up and be seated immediately. Hard to get best view when busy.Food was typical IHOP food. We opted for breakfast food, hand Ike the kids chose lunch.Service Could’ve been... View all feedback.
Welcoming staff, the hotel is within walking distance of everything interesting on the Canadian side. The room was more than large enough for our family of four and had a decent amount of room for us to even enjoy some carry-out at the dinner table as a family. The pool was on the smaller side but no complaints for the price.
Was under the impression of staying in a new building but was instructed to go to tower B that was a very old building. Was also unaware of all these other hidden fees mandatory fee on top of the parking fee and additional room fees. Pool and restaurant not in tower B but across the parking lot. Highly recommend you find other arrangements than this hotel for the price range. Extremely dissatisfied with service and management.
In general it was fine and since we arrived last minute around 1h am we've been lucky that they still have rooms for us we we're 5 wish they at least had more commodities in the room cause since my friends we're 2 on each bed there wasn't any couch nor any extra crib bed I unfortunately had to sleep directely on the floor of the room which wsn't really enjoyable I'd say so that's why I only gave 4 stars . Otherwise the lady who received us at the front desk was pretty sympathic and of course all of this was obviously before the pendamic
Now called Super 8 by Wyndham Niagara Falls by the Falls. Was on the US side for a funeral, and needed last minute accommodations. An Econoodge in NY looked like a good deal, until I realized they would add 40 in fees, nearly doubling the price!! Through my AAA membership, I found this instead for less !! Off season rates so parking was free. I was in the building across the way, but had a good size room with a King bed and a couch. Older style building, but they've renovated the rooms. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge and a TV, Not fancy but more than adequate for me, and I REALLY appreciated how strict they are about the no smoking policy. Not allowed on the balconies, so no drifting smoke smell. Desk staff was great, very helpful. Free breakfast was included waffles, HB eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt and fresh fruit. Plenty to eat. Swipe cards needed to get in the building, which is great for single travelers. So close to the border, I was over in under 10 minutes (but, it was a rainy Monday morning in October!
RESERVATIONS not Honoured !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you make a reservation--even a year in advance--they may CANCEL your reservation soon before the time reserved with the excuse that current guests of a large group are now overstaying--umm, when a guest's time is up, they are told to leave since another has a reservation for the next days--so what's up with this excuse and conduct?! THIS hotel cancelled the reservations for that the coming April 8, 2024 total eclipse that were made a year ago for eclipse totality viewing. But now hotel rates have doubled or tripled--sometimes 30x the original costs of the rooms--some now going for $3,000/night. Why book with a hotel that will cancel your accommodation and give your room to another if there's more profit to be made? And then you have to book somewhere else at much greater cost after the rates have skyrocketed? The lack of ethics and greed is astronomical. [hidden link] [hidden link]
