The restaurant staff had limited knowledge about gluten-free options. The only chicken dish without malt vinegar marinade was the curry chicken. I was told that the vegetarian dishes were safe and that the pakora was gluten-free, but chose not to try it after seeing a review saying otherwise. I was hesitant about the food safety, but fortunately did not get sick from the vegetarian dish I ended up ordering.
My family and I went here for a late dinner after a day of site-seeing at the Falls. We arrived around 8:30-45pm and the restaurant was still very busy and there were many Indian families dining (both good signs!) There was another Indian restaurant a few doors down which was nearly empty, making this place seem more attractive as well. Prices were decent and I was pleased with the amount of vegetarian and vegan options. The food was all a bit spicer than Indian restaurants I have been to in the states, but we enjoyed it and everything seemed authentic. Garlic naan bread was delicious. Would return here if back in Niagara Falls!
Among the many restaurants and shops on Victoria Ave. sits this great Indian restaurant. Waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable. if you like hot ansd spicy, this is the place. Very reasonable for the area.
Very unhygienic, poor customer serve and food no so great, I would strongly suggest to stay away from this place. 1- Dirty water glass2- Broken and cracked plate3- Dirty Spoon4 - The food smelled very unpleasant.Despite all this they added gratitude fee for three people. not to mention me my wife both got sick in stomach the same day when we return to Toronto.
Food was ok, nothing special. I've had better frozen meal. Definitely would skip this restaurant next time. Server seemed honest. When I asked one of the server about the automatic tip included in the bill, he told me that the rude female owner keeps everything. This practice absolutely disgust me and I want to check if i can report her. Why don't use just increase the food price if you want more money ? Firstly you serve mediocre food for an expensive price and then you automatically charge tips and steal those tips from your servers ?
