The worst and most ignorant restaurant I have ever encountered in my 50 years of life!!! The man who answered the phone to take our order was so ignorant to us. I would never ever recommend this horror to anyone! Rediculous to treat your customers with such disregard! View all feedback.

My daughter and I where there for a celebration dinner, celebrating her graduating grade 8. We ordered pizza and wings and for drinks we ordered chocolate milks. My daughter said the chocolate milk tasted funny and had noticed that there was a dark blob in her cup. She had told the waiter that was serving us and he replaced them but my daughter and I both thought that the chocolate milk was off, a bit sour, My daughter did not want it after that. Our food was good and paid the bill also for the chocolate milk that we didn’t end up drinking. Left a tip and we left. I had thought nothing of it after that, until a few months later when we went back, this time with some friends for a late dinner after a long road trip. My friend noticed that he was a bit unfriendly with his service when asking him questions or simply asking him for ketchup for his fries. And the same attitude was given to the rest of us. When asked about peanut sauce for wings that the cook one time cooked for me personally a couple years back... he said “do you see the resemblance on this menu, (referring to a likeness of himself, I guess) we don’t have that!!” that was not the point or the augment. At the end of our meal which was ok, we asked for take-out containers for the remaining food. I had about enough of the attitude and asked what the problem was and he continued to say “I am your server and you don’t talk to me like that and if you want a problem I will call the police” I was stunned I thought maybe he was stressed because of Canada day or something.... but this was the next day... there was only 5 of us and about 5 other people in the place. So couldn’t be that! I continued the conversation and told him about his terrible attitude and paid my bill (no tip!!) as he continued as to call the police and writing my licence plate down. I asked what his problem was again, and he said that I gave him trouble before and pointed to where we sat a few months previous. It all came to me and could not believe this was all because my daughter and I did not want to drink mouldy chocolate milk. I took a picture of this person that I am assuming is the owner of this place as he was running away and blocking me as he said he was on the phone with the police. I said that I would wait for the police to come but decided to leave after his odd behaviour pretending to be on the phone with the police opening the back door a crack to see if we were still there every few seconds. I and my friends will “NEVER” go back!!!!
We started going because my friends band (Steve Burnside) is playing each Sunday usually 3-6 or 4-7. The pub is a decent size with a long bar (if that is where you want to sit) and lots of tables if you have a group of friends. The patio is large and becomes part of the main room when the two large garage doors are opened. Service is quick and friendly. The food is pub grub, you know, wings, subs, pizza plus more and it's really really good. I'm actually going for the food, hell with the band. Sorry Steve.
I ordered a couple of the Jumbo Hotdogs and a Philly Steak Sub with added hot peppers.First of all, wow, the portion size was...over the top. The Hotdogs were literally served on half a submarine sandwich bun that was stuffed with tomatoes and onions along with pickle spears and mustard...ketchup came in little side containers. To make these Hotdogs even better, they were topped...no...smothered in melted mozzarella cheese. They were unbelievably exceptional in quality, taste and price. Now for the Philly Steak Sub...absolutely extordinary. The steak was thinly sliced and very tender, the onions, mushrooms and green peppers were not mushy or overcooked, the hot peppers I had added were cooked in with the steak to distribute the heat, making it Mmmmmmmmmmm...so deliscious...and like the Hotdogs, the sub, which was conveniently cut in half, was just smothered in mozzarella cheese. This was the absolute best...the BEST steak sub I have ever had...and I have had many from all over the Niagara Regional and the Buffalo NY area. These guys at Somebuddy's really have their act together and I will order again...and again...and again.I wish you guys much success in the future. Your quality, quantity and portion sizes are the best...Somebuddy's gives you so much more than you pay for.
