Rain forest cafe is always one of our favourite places to go with the kids. I find the options for kids are really good but the options for adults are limited. However, what we did order was very good. The restaurant is also very pricey. Overall kids had fun their bellies were full it was a great experience View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rainforest Cafe- Niagara Falls:
I didn't make a reservation and ended up waiting for 45 minutes. They didn't advertise a kids' cup on a large sign while we were waiting. The restaurant is extremely small, and the prices are very high. They mentioned they would do something special for my child's birthday, but all they provided was a charge on the bill. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. View all feedback.
I can honestly say this was the worst food we've ever experienced. The burgers were overcooked and the fries were served cold. The service was terrible as well. This was our second visit, and we were hoping for a better experience, but we were sadly disappointed. We definitely won't be coming back. The prices are also outrageous, with beers costing $12.99 each.
We checked in with the hostess, who assured us it would only be a 5-minute wait and apologized for the delay. We thought we could handle that, but 10 minutes later, the wait continued. When I asked again, she reiterated that it would just be five more minutes. We then overheard that some guests with reservations were arriving only to find no tables available for them. It felt rather absurd that we weren’t given an honest update, and it felt like we wasted a significant amount of time waiting for a table. Typically, we don’t wait this long, but since we were on vacation, we were eager to have this experience and check it off our bucket list. We had saved our appetites for this particular restaurant all day, excited for what we hoped would be a fun outing. After waiting an hour and twenty minutes, we finally decided to leave, and it felt like a relief for the staff as we turned to go. Management really needs to improve in terms of staffing and handling reservations versus walk-ins to avoid situations like this. On top of it all, we left just half an hour before closing time, yet there were still people coming in for reservations. It was puzzling why they were still allowing reservations so close to closing. Overall, our experience was disappointing.
The food here is outstanding, featuring a wide range of dishes to choose from. Don't miss the Philly steak and the layered pasta—both are my personal favorites. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, as the ambiance beautifully enhances the dining experience.
I had not been to Rainforest Cafe in many years. I was very excited to take my young daughter for the experience. I as disappointed to see how much it had changed. The thunderstorm part was not like it used to be. It was short and unclimactic. The food was mediocre are best. I was quite disappointed overall. Our server was really nice though.
