Pasta Fresca has been my go-to place for over 10 years for lasagna if I'm having a large gathering or holiday dinner. This family-run business makes their own sauce and noodles and their food is consistently excellent. You can order your lasagna hot if you plan to serve it immediately or cold if you choose to cook it yourself at a later time. I've tried their pizza and veal as well, and have enjoyed everything they p... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pasta Fresca:
The first time we tried Pasta Fresca, it was excellent. The pasta was cooked just right, and the tomato sauce brought back childhood memories. We were also pleased with our second order, a lasagna dish. Unfortunately our next order was not as good, as the pasta was over cooked. However, they redeemed themselves with the next couple of orders. We have ordered many times from them and despite some so so orders, overall... View all feedback.
I make the drive from Fort Erie once a week just to enjoy the exceptional meatballs at Pasta Fresca. The sauce, pizza, and sandwiches are also amazing!
Went in to the store around 12:45pm on my lunch break today to grab lunch. Waited 3/4 mins in line because the cashier(older female, short, greyish hair) was casually chatting with a customer after he was already done While waiting for the employee to be done taking, I looked around to grab something for dinner. I found a small tray of cheese raviolis, I asked her how much it was and her reply was ?$22? so I grabbed that a half piece of garlic bread that she said was $4 something, I also grabbed a pre made/ pre wrapped sandwich. my total came to $34.45 . Walked back to work felt like I was over charged, so I went on their website to check prices and realized she over charged me. Small tray of cheese ravioli is $16.99 on their website the half garlic bread is $4.00. When I pulled the garlic bread from the bag it was in rough shape, it was ripped in half, had stuff all over the back of it. So I got my co worker to go back to return it because I was upset that I got ripped off the garlic bread looked awful. My co worker went to return it it wasn?t the lady that originally cashed me out and she was quite rude said they couldn?t help that things are expensive when they are the ones that over charged me by $5 on 1 item. They only gave me my co worker $20 back, which doesn?t even add up at all when I paid $22 for raviolis plus $4 something for the garlic bread so I ended up giving them free money (about $8/$9) but something isn?t adding up with the original lady that cashed me out. Super upset, myself and all my co workers (about 20 of us) go there quite often for lunches and now none of us want to go there after what happened today.
I have been a regular at this restaurant for years, but ever since the ownership and establishment changed recently, things have gone downhill. The portions of veal, pasta, and other dishes have been decreasing in size every week. They also don't provide cutlery or napkins for pasta unless you specifically ask for them, which seems unnecessary. The food is just okay and overpriced. I would recommend trying La Farina or Roman Cheese instead.
Went to grab some lunch , great lasagna. Bought a tray to take home and some meatballs. A server Jenny served me , she was pleasant and helpful . Great place. . Still great but prices have gone up so much. I paid 18 dollars for a piece of lasagna and 2 very small meatballs and the lasagna was so small I was still hungry, I?m a senior. Found a new place with bigger serving for 14 dollars. Hate to change but price too high
Been going here at least once a week despite mediocre food and relatively slow service. Better than fast food is all I can say about the food. My recent visit was head scratching. I walked in and a guy in front of me order 2 pieces of pizza and sat down to eat it. I was the only other one in the place. I ordered 2 pieces of pizza and 2 sausage rolls and a veal parm on a bun. Was told that they had no panini buns and accepted a sub bun alternative. I paid the girl and stood there for over 10 minutes. I saw 4 different staff members and no signs of anyone making my sandwich. The veal was sitting in the display case already cooked. The sandwich should have taken 2 minutes to prepare. Several more minutes had passed and still no sandwich. I literally had to leave and asked the girl how it could take 15 minutes to make a sandwich? I grabbed my pizza and rolls and walked out without my sandwich. No wonder this place doesn't do well. How can you possibly get any business from the high school, when you can't slap a piece of pre made veal on a bun in under 15 minutes when there was no one else in the place? Will never go back!
