Went in for a Saturday brunch with family/friendsWas a small restaurant and completely packed when we got there for noon.
I have gone to John's a number of times Let me be very clear that the food here is excellent.
This place sure gets busy!!! I was here in a Monday and by 9pm its was pretty much full. Came here as a friend suggested for breakfast.
Fish and chip review 20-something.Went with the family for a meal and we all had a variety of items. The fish was dry the batter was fair just a bit too crispy for my liking. The portion size was decent the tartar sauce supposedly was homemade but it really didn't taste homemade the coleslaw was fair. The rest of my family had veal parmesan spaghetti and meatballs escargot and the the feedback was average taste nothing dramatic or special.Free parkingNo wifiCash debit Visa MastercardClean bathroomsIf you go in with a stroller you may struggle.Location will hold about 150 to 200 people
My husband had the Salisbury Steak and he said it was OK. He said he wouldn't have it again. The fish and chips were great. The Service was amazing. The average age of the customers was beyond 60 so that made us feel wierd with kids and the decor is right out of the 70s! Prices are good.
