Far East Chinese Restaurant

The quality has declined in recent years, I guess they have found that if they keep the dune in the section closed, you do not complain and say that they take it back. Nail in the coffin was ordered for 2 with egg rolls when we came home, they had replaced them with spring rolls that tasted like rotten cabbage and old fish. They called them back and they said they ran out, don't think it's something your customers should say when ordering!

Always the same, hot, tasteful, plentiful portions. Has stayed the same for years.no surprises only opened for departure now.

I must say I'm open when it comes to traveling and various kitchens, but I never tasted the food so badly. Far East was listed at our Airbnb and I will highly recommend to the owners that they don't send anyone here. You don't even deserve a star.

For over 40 years we have been eating and ordering from the Far East. The food was always consistently great. Not anymore!!! I'm not sure what changed with the restaurant, but the quality of the food has taken a nasal dive! This is the second call order we couldn't eat. The first was a few months ago. We've been thinking again today, maybe it was just a bad day new cook etc. and wanted to be fair. Wrong! We shouldn't bother. The food was as inconspicuous as before. This time we had both combo dinners to me the chicken balls, fried rice and egg roll, and my husband the beef and green peppers, fried rice and chicken balls with a side egg roll. Food was fat and left a film on teeth and lips, the chicken balls had a few fresh, mixed with recycled, hard and insensitive, the beef was 't too bad, but still had a lot of hard pieces in it. The rice is greasy and tasteless. Egg rolls were on the gay side. If you want to say what you expect from the combined plates, I'll tell you what we ordered before. Fried rice, cantonese chow, beef and green peppers, egg rolls and lemon chicken (not positive on chicken dish. It was not as good as before. Again fat and tasteless. This makes me really sad because the Far East always made some of the best food in the city. Sadly, we didn't order or eat again in the Far East. Such a shame...

I have been ordering from Far East for years and their food is excellent. Unfortunately their customer service stinks now. I ordered recently and was told to pick up my order at 5:30. I got there at 5:30..had to wait outside for a bit. Finally got inside. It was 6 o'clock and I asked about my order as I have a bad knee and it was hard to stand. The girl said that it was packed up waiting for one more thing. I waited another 15 minutes. Some others that came after me were long gone. I asked about my order again just to make sure it wasnt missed and she said it's almost done. I asked again at 6:30 and the other lady yelled that everyone one has to wait after I told her I was standing here for an hour. Five minutes later my order came out with no apology or anything. Got home..all the food was cold except for the beef and broccoli. I can accept the waiting but the rudeness is unacceptable.
