What JeroneC doesn't like about Curry Queen:
I had been to this place previously a few years back and it was good then. With that experience, decided to try this place out this time when I was at Niagara falls on the Labour day holiday with my family. Bought some Biriyanis out of this place. The portions were far lesser than what i had used to before. The food was unpalatable. It was stale and the chicken pieces were old. The rice felt chewy and lacked any Biri... View all feedback.
Amidst the Las Vegas feel on the Canadian side sits this small restaurant with a great buffet. I prefer to try new things and not eat at the touristy types of places. We all had the buffet and were able to have a wonderful meal. The cost was near $20 and the service was quite good. We were hungry from a day of driving and this place surely fulfilled our every need.
We are locals and never been there before. We were stop and ask to take a look in and we had our son who is 6. They told us we could go to Burger King and grab something for him. Little did they know he loves Curry so we got our money's worth with fantastic service. It's worth it!
The food was good, staff were ok and they even gave us a complentary shot of a coffee based drink (pretty good). A little expensive though, but overall a good experience.
Curry Queen is a gem of a find for me, my wife and two of our best friends when we were looking for a place to eat dinner on a Friday night in the heart of Niagara Falls tourist belt. The place is cozy with well-arranged seating. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the cheerful and friendly young lady – named Mehak. We ordered chicken biryani that’s good for two persons(thanks again to Mehak for letting us know). The chicken was delightfully tasty, tender, moist and delicious in combination with saffron fragrant rice(mildly spicy). We also enjoyed the curry chicken with naan. Surprisingly the best curry we ever had. With reasonably priced superb foods, this place deserved the name “maharani” – Curry Queen!

The portions were far lesser than what i had used to before. The food was unpalatable. It was stale and the chicken pieces were old. The rice felt chewy and lacked any Biriyani spices. It was the worst food that i had tasted in a while. What happened to this place? I do not recommend eating out from this place.
