My friend and I shared the 65 dollar celebration menu and it was amazing! The only bad court was the chicken, which was a bit dry and Fad, but everything else was tasteful and so satisfying. We were so full until the end of the course. It's worth worth!

Our experience here on a Friday evening was very good. The service throughout all was brilliant, waiting for the staff friendly and prompt. We had the seafood banquet, the dishes all arrived in quick succession. Each plate was prepared and cooked for perfection. Portions were small, but we were rather full at the end of our banquet. So the saturation was not a problem, neither flowering. Grief Highly recommended, the main reason why I selected this restaurant was for its large selection of gluten-free options. The only negative side was the slightly steep prices. We would still definitely return.

Decided to check out Rubyos before heading to a gig at Leadbelly as the restaurant is just steps away from our venue.  Did some research and Rubyos delivered on my high expectations.  I was looking for a nice restaurant with great vegetarian and seafood food.  The only disappointing thing were the extended-happy hour cocktails.  They lacked a wow-factor, but maybe that's because I use Eau De Vie as my standard.   The team at Rubyos are fantastic.  Very friendly, engaging and attentive.  Frankly, they made the eating experience even that much more enjoyable.   So, lets get to the food.  Four sharing plates were ordered, two each from their cold and warm grazing options.  I've listed them in order of my preference:  baked atlantic salmon curried cauliflower arancini charred eggplant involtini smoked salmon & nori seaweed roulade The baked atlantic salmon is one of their signature dishes and I can see why.  The food was fresh, flavourful and more substantial then expected.  The wine options were good and we settled on a white. However, I was most impressed by the longneck bottle of Young Henrys.  Had never seen a bottle like that... crazy and funny stuff. I'll definitely return!

I had the 8 course tasting style banquet. Each course was well presented and delicious. Portions were small (as degustations tend to), but I felt satisfied at the end. So much so that I do not offer the benefits of vegan sorbet or the vegan hot choc they also. The staff was beautiful and the right amount of attention. It made for a very special night.

Rubyos was always a bit creative in their menus. I haven't been there since I got vegan, and I'm glad I visited the return. They have a number of banquet menus, including a dedicated vegan banquet at just $40 it is amazing value. I enjoyed all dishes, and while small portions it added everything up to a fulfilling meal. The chat potatoes were a bit too salty, but otherwise crispy and delicious. It is indically influenced, which ensures a tasteful experience. The good at a banquet/degustation is that someone always visits the table with the next dish so that the service is always at hand.
