Such a disappointing experience for what was a nice little local we liked going to. Not any more. Popped in for a wine and snack. Ordered steak tartare $32 and asked if we wanted crackers or bread to accompany. Opted for bread. Charged an additional $8 for bread.. so a $40 for an overly salted small snack that you needed to mix yourself more expensive than any 5 star restaurant I have had this at and much poorer quality. Over priced for what it is and not great service. Service: Dine in

I love Pistou! It has such a charming vibe, tucked away at the end of South King St. Absolutely delicious food. Had the scallops and mushroom farfadelle, exquisite flavours and so tender. Great wine recommendations and friendly, knowledgeable service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am disappointed. I ordered just the mussels, without bread. They were ok, the sauce a bit salty, the portion way too small. Paid 42.00$ for like a starter portion and a water. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$40–60

One of my favourite spots in Newtown. The mussels are phenomenal! Service is attentive and not pushy (they won’t try to upsell you). Just a really lovely place with amazing food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
