Patisserie Petunia - Newtown

They will not be a chic newtown caffe (the southern end that you rarely keep at the hype anyway) or a chic French terrace, but it is great for a fast cheap meal. the ham- and cheese croissant (which were called strangely Danish) had good ingredients and aromen and was properly baked in advance (too many lately were hardly warmed over) nor had the fissileness of a good croissant. the cakes burst on the sewn and only $6. the coffee was ridiculously creamy and too cold, but it had a decent taste and was good inexpensive.

This is a non-review for the owner, as we have tried to eat here, but no one to get to serve us. truly, it was christening, but 4 of the 5 tables and had not been deleted. 3 of the 4 employees were behind the chat.

I swear I was in newtown like 6 or 7 times and never noticed this caffe before I dived to taste the coffee. they also had a great selection of sweets and disc, nothing has taken me. coffee was nice, would give me one back when I came back.

Beautiful little king street caffe at the Peters-Ende of newtown. friendly service, good coffee and simple but tasty menu. the breakfast fave is the avocado on toast perfectly seasoned with salt, pepper, a straw olive oil and a lemon and also a good selection of cakes for lunch.

Love this little cafe! Prices are awesome! Great value for money. They make everything on site, super fresh I've sampled a few of their pastries and cakes and have loved them all. They do a damn good decaf coffee too Highly recommend as a place to sit down and enjoy a quick or long coffee and pastry. Yet to try their meals but I'm sure they'll be just as great!
