The Pastizzi's make this place a bit different from the run of the mill Italian place. The staff were really busy and did their best to fit us in unlike some of the places on King St. I thought the seafood marinara pasta was quite good. Plenty of seafood and no filler..its only a mile or two from the seafood market. Sydney is more of a seafood town than a meat town

The pastizis are large and filling on their own. The owner Lenny, has great imagination with the ingredients that go into his pastizis. He has a wide variety of fillings to choose from not just the traditional ricotta or pea filling. For the main course I had the homemade ricotta gnocchi and my friend had fettuccine with pancetta and mushrooms. I highly recommend Patizzi Cafe for your next lunch or dinner while in Sydney.

The various pastizzi is like a challenge where you want to try them all! I've had also there ravioli and I'm a big eater but I was totally full after having there main size! It's also open til late,if you haven't been or want to try something different I highly recommend this place

Have always bought the frozen packs for the freezer as an option for those times one has nothing else. However, whenever I do pass by, I would get some fresh ones. Mainly apple pastizzi's. Ricotta is a favourite. Chicken mushroom come close. Just love the crunchiness of the pastry. Have recently discovered their cinnamon scrolls on offer. Need to go back and dine in one day.
