Super cute little place and AMAZING FOOD. The duck momo are incredible! Would recommend pan fried momo to any other option they provide although all are good. Service was great, the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The two chefs in the kitchen were super friendly as well. Great prices, great food, great service. Will definitely be returning : Also there’s secure paid parking just around the corner, we we... View all feedback.
What Shanie Kutch doesn't like about Little Momo:
Food was terrible and confused. Had the Popcorn Fish expecting little bite-sized pieces but they were fillets. Tasted OK though. The Big Momo turned out to be a plate of doughy dumplings drowning in sweet and sour sauce. Sauce was a major overkill, completely overpowering the taste of the dumplings. Also had beef chow mein, but the beef wasn't fresh - it was powdery and tasted stale. Only saving grace was the friend... View all feedback.
Vegetable momos chicken karaage green sweet agitator-Fry cucumber salat jump rolls too clean, not enough fill chicken teriyaki much sauce, small, stringy bits huhn don't spit my taste. sauce blah fish popcorn
The poached momo had at least the thicker chewier texture that seemed typical for momo in asia, but they were small and only a small area, that was only half filled. the bottling seemed more like a pate, but it was the vege filling that was particularly boring with none of the rich curry aroma that I thought was the important thing about vege momo. the fish popcorn was better, though it was large (but thin) pieces of fish (not what they would think of the name popcorn) covered with a delicious but floury and not on all crispy teig perhaps undercooked.
Large small Asian restaurant in newtown. service is always friendly and eating tastes great. varied menu, lively atmosphere, clean and modern furnishings.
Unfortunately little momo is a little underwhelming for us we ordered a few different dishes that were sporadically served and then a last court a little later. the dumplings had not tasted much. the lotus chips were overcooked and the green beans with minze were much too salty the restaurant is very cozy, the tables are directly next to each other and since the restaurant was quite busy at that time, we were right next to other people. they also played the same song on the repetition.
YUMMMMM Love this place. they have a vegan menu which is great. I've had the thukpa (noodle soup) momos, chow mein and the cucumber salad and absolutely loved every bite of everything. decently priced too.
