In a suburb with some ve... read more I live approximately minute from this cafe, hence why I choose to visit over some of the other better known (packed) cafes in the area. In a suburb with some very steep competition and coffee snobs galore, Belljar still does the trick. Prices are...average for Newtown, if you want a good strong coffee then order a double, that never fails. I've had breakfast here once, bacon and egg roll. It was average cafe fare, much the same as you would get anywhere else. I like that it's constantly got customers but it's never that busy. Comfortable place to sit down or grab takeaway
