We happened to go during their 10 year anniversary celebrations and scored a free entree from their lucky dip! But that's not the sole reason why I enjoyed it so much. ???? Plenty of vegan options, and the staff know exactly what you are after so there are no confusions in ordering vegetarian/vegan items. And they are SO nice, really really nice. We tried the curry puffs and vegan satay chicken skewers and both were delicious. I cannot get the "chicken" skewers out of my head, will definitely have to go back for them! The sauce which came out with the puffs was very light but went so well with the entree, it was also highly enjoyable. Also tried the vegan duck red curry and although it was tasty, I just don't think I'm a fan of mixing sweet and savoury together. Was a tad heavy for me, but we also ordered the eggplant and tofu stir-fry, and this was bomb! Perfect flavours and generous amount of veggies. Could have had just this and rice all night and I would've been a happy girl. ???? Would highly recommend Atom Thai for vegan thai food. Too good.

The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and I believe it is the best Thai restaurant in Newtown, and possibly in Sydney.
