**Cabot’s: A Mixed Bag of Breakfast and Desserts** Cabot’s has garnered a diverse array of reactions, with diners praising its charming 1950s diner atmosphere and expertly crafted ice cream desserts. Many appreciate the generous ice cream portions and unique flavors, making it a hit among families. However, the breakfast menu has drawn criticism, with reports of poorly prepared dishes that fail to justify their price. While service is generally swift and attentive, some have noted inconsistencies in how tips are perceived. Overall, Cabot’s remains a popular spot for ice cream, though its breakfast may require re-evaluation.

Very good service and good breakfast food. Portions are not the biggest vs village cafe or other places, but flavors are good. Definitely a go to for brunch plus ice cream.

The dessert menu is great but the food isn?t anything special. If anyone in your party is vegetarian you might want to go elsewhere for food, then come here for dessert. Also, I noticed that people leave big tips here. That?s great for rich people, but our waitresses shouldn?t act like 20-25% tip was too little for them. But this happens at a lot of places around Boston now.

Medium ice cream (2 scoops) on a waffle cone for $6.50. Cake batter with Butter Nut. Delish. They have a tasty mushroom Swiss burger, and terrific Turkey dinner. Charming Old school diner style that feels like I stepped into episode of Happy Days; 1950swholesomeness, and always busy for a reason. Will definitely be back!

They changed so much on the menu recently! Every sandwich comes with coleslaw (I liked having it not come with a side at all! , the one egg breakfast is off the menu, potato salad is no longer on the menu, the breakfast sandwiches all come with a side, the mac and cheese recipe changed... I've been coming for 20 years and ordering the same things. Why mess with what people like?? Now everything is more expensive I don't always want a side dish and now I need to pay for what I don't want. Bring back the old menu!
