The w... read more Today was our third dining experience in gather and brew. We hadn't been in a couple of years and were reminded why we hadn't returned almost immediately. The waitress has a scolding manner about her,the children wanted a pancake with Nutella hard to get at this time but most places would be accommodating. Not today. A solid no. OK. Other items were not available and she delighted in telling us there was none. The food was nice,the guy also serving was a lovely chap and gave the childrena smoothie,very kind. But the older lady isn't at all nice,she really let's the place down.she started cleaning the glass divides at our table when we were eating making us feel very uncomfortable like she wanted us out.We won't return solely because of her attitude. Poached eggs cooked perfectly, tomatoes roasted on grill with balsamic with such a delicate flavor, fresh smoked salmon served chilled--all combined to make the Avocado Smash just a delicacy! Super friendly staff who made local tour recommendations and visited with us. Dishes were pottery with a home-crafted feel. Clean, cozy, good music. Altogether a lovely place. Go visit!
