California The beach simply serves the best sushi I've ever tasted. If you consider yourself a fan of Japanese food and especially sushi, do yourself a favor and try it out. I've taken a lot of friends and family here, and it's never disappointed. The food. The place itself may not be so attractive to everyone. But the food. I've never tried except the All-you-can-eat here, and I'm not planning to ever try anything else. I'm sure the other stuff is great, but the reason I keep coming is to stuff myself full of great quality sushi. Here's the deal: $21.95 for an hour half a sushi sky. It is not bad about the quality of food and how much other all-you-can-eat places cost. The type of order is the infamous paper method, and the service is somewhat slow so that you average about three rounds. You can choose appetizers, rolls and sushi. Most appetizers are good, but the sushi and hand rolls are excellent. In fact, almost everything you can eat is worth a try (you could go with a lot of other people, but, or come back a few times to do that). And that's delicious. I would give the food five stars, two thumbs up, whatever cliché you want. The controversy lies in two other things: the order method and the setting. As already mentioned, you get the paper strip on which the menu is printed, and each person may choose two types of sushi and two appetizers. Your waitress will bring it out on a large plate, and after you polish it out, you will get another paper form. Just enough, right? The problem is that you only have one hour and half an hour (an hour when you sit at the bar). You do not exactly kick out, but they will remind you firmly when it is time to give up your seat. This time limit, combined with the slow service, means that you can fit on average in three rounds. But it's not as bad as it seems. At this time you should be quite filled when you are an average person. However, if you want to eat much more or just show to your friends / forget You are worth your money, then check the menu online before you go, so you can order quickly. And ask for the paper form WHILE you eat your food, not afterwards. Beautiful waiters will do this without being asked (I gave her a deserved extra tip). My friends and I have managed to press the last few times in four rounds. Another side note: you claim to charge you $5 extra if you eat food, but only if it is in excess. The place is a medium-sized restaurant, with extra friendly service and loud music. The thing is, some people have complained that the service is a little TOO friendly and the music is a little TOO loud. It's true that you have to scream here to be heard, but if you don't mind, it's actually quite funny. The people who make the real sushi at the bars are loud and friendly, and every hour and half or so the Rock n’ Roll music will stop and they will blow their theme song. Staff will have all wooden blocks (if you are lucky and are sitting at the bar, you can also get a pair) and together in a stunning rhythmic pattern. And then everyone (including the Sushi Church) kills all the others with a cup of beer and continues to eat. It’s a strange mix of traditional Japanese cuisine and western style rock n’ roll atmosphere, but it’s definitely worth a try, at least for the first time, and a great place to get together with a series of rudder friends. More details: It is only open for dinner, but the All-you-can-eat price is the same every day of the week. Also, parking can be a bit hard if you are unhappy, but there is a lot around the back is just a bit more of a walk.

Best all you eat Sushi place in Newport beach. I drive an hour for this place and I do it too often. You have to sit at the sushi bar, but if you have sensitive ears, take earplugs... lol. oh, buy your sushi cook some alcohol!
