Mi... read more The owner, Mindy, is a top notch rockstar chef! Seadogs has some of the best food I've had in Newport! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we're never disappointed. Mindy has turned the old bay 839 into an amazing restaurant and lounge when I thought all hope was lost. Family date nights, occasional life music, and you'll never miss a sporting event. She's so creative with her food and drinks, has awesome daily specials and what a great view! I highly recommend this to everyone!

However, while the seafood pasta dish tastes good, it is a bit oily. I think it would benefit from a salad on the side.

The crab omelettes w... read more I absolutely love this place! We decided to stop by for an early morning breakfast that allowed dogs, and we were thrilled with our choice. The crab omelettes were incredible, made with fresh ingredients and served in generous portions at a great price. We couldn't resist trying the (dangerously delicious) Bloody Mary as well. The owners took the time to come over and chat with us, making us feel very welcomed in their new restaurant. We also had the perfect table with a lovely view of the water. What sets this place apart is that unlike many restaurants in downtown Newport that only offer views, SeaDogs has actual outdoor seating. So if you’re looking for stunning views, excellent food, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and fantastic service, you definitely need to visit SeaDogs!

The lobster was delicious. Good bungalow. Many big lobster bites. Light on the Mayo. Everything was delicious!

Other restaurants should strive to match the quality of the dishes served here. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. If we lived closer, we would dine here every day. Our experience at Seadogs Restaurant has definitely given us a reason to return to the west coast. The area is beautiful, and Seadogs makes it even more enjoyable.
