Kukurukoo Express - Newport

We stumbled upon this charming little restaurant in town, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The Mexican food was excellent and authentic. The roast chicken was tender and flavorful, while the enchiladas were generous in portion. We also tried four delicious sides: tostones, nopales, maduros, along with bratwurst and pint beans, all served with rice. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!

The menu doesn't offer much for vegans unless you're open to exploring. However, pescatarians will find plenty of options here. We tried the shrimp plate, and it was amazing! The shrimp were massive and incredibly satisfying. You can tell they really know what they're doing in the kitchen. It was a bit pricey, but jumbo shrimp typically are. If you're really hungry during your visit, it's a great quick stop. Overall, this is an excellent spot for meat lovers.

The food is beautifully prepared, and the ingredients are fresh. The customer service is excellent as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know!
