The best Mexican restaurant in Cincinnati. I've gone to this place for 15 years and never had a bad experience. Delicious food, generous portions and great service. The Nachos Fajitas and homemade hot salsa are my favorites. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Rio Grande Mexican:
Quality has actually gone downhill since the last time (about 3 years ago). Burritos were lukewarm when it was served, and most of the plate was iceberg salad and pico to hide the smaller sizes. They also calculate 3.5% for non-payment payments. Apparently there's a sign on the door, but if the door is held for you when you go in, you don't see it. Always love Rio nights!! I can't speak for much on the menu because we usually get the same things every time we come and it's amazing!! We get the Fajitas for two and you can get chicken or steak or mixed!! It says for two but there is enough food there to feed six people (not joking)!! The kids usually get the chicken quesadilla and they are a hit every time!! The servings are crazy big and the prices are exceptional for the portions and quality!! Definitely recommend this place for the entire family!! We've never had a bad experience here!!
Had lunch here and they were very fast. Carne Asada was delicious. Restaurant was clean. Would go again.
We were in Cincinnati for a vacation when we decided we wanted mexican food so we decided to try this place. Food was the best Mexican food I've ever had. The service was great too. I just wish we didn't live 3 hours away. We will definitely be back again when we make it back to the area.
This is my wife and I's favorite restaurant. We have been coming here weekly to bi-weekly almost for a couple years now and we still are not tired of it. The food is cooked to perfection (and quickly at that) the portions are very generous (expect leftovers) and during this time we have never had a rude or seemingly disinterested server. If you are looking for good Mexican food for the price I cannot recommend this place enough. My go-to dish as of late is the Southwest Enchilada with the shredded chicken.
