Mini Asia is usually a reliable option for Chinese cuisine, but my latest visit was underwhelming. I was informed my order would be ready in 10 minutes, but it ended up taking more than 30. When I finally got the food, the chicken was cold and tasted old, while the fried rice lacked flavor. It might be some time before I decide to try this restaurant again.
I placed a delivery order just before closing time, which can be a challenge in the restaurant industry. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and assistance of the employee I spoke with on the phone. She estimated a 45-minute wait for my order, but I received it in only 30 minutes, which I greatly appreciated. The delivery driver was polite as well, and the food arrived fresh and hot. If I could, I would give them three thumbs up!
Ever since the prices went up, I've found the overall flavor to be quite disappointing. I'm not sure where to go for good Chinese food anymore.
This place is usually pretty fair for take out Chinese food but my latest order was just plain bad. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes for pickup but it was over 30 minutes. The chicken was ice cold and did not taste fresh at all. The fried rice wasflavorless. It's going to be a long time before I give this place another chance.
I rarely leave negative reviews but thus is worth the time to save someone else the trouble. I have tried this place 3 times. The first 2 times were disappointing; I was able able to eat some of it, but this last time is terrible. Even the general tso'schicken has an old taste. The seafood fried rice is completely inedible. I don't know what they have got going on in thekitchen, but the food tastes about like the restaurant smells.....bad. $40 down the drain and me and the kids are eatingspaghetti noodles to tonight.
