Contribute Feedback What 820katiee doesn't like about The Pasty Shop:
Bought the last traditional pasty and it really must have been there all day as the pastry was hard and dry and the filling average. Very disappoint as I have had lovely pasties there before. Next time I will ask for the freshest there no matter what flavour. View all feedback.
Terrible experience. I paid £4.50 for a vegetarian sausage roll that was extremely dry and difficult to chew, making it almost inedible. It seemed like it had been sitting on the counter all day. I couldn't finish it and had to throw it away. A complete waste of money.
Awful experience. The pastries were dry, overpriced, and not worth it. I will not be returning and will make sure to avoid this restaurant in the future.
When choosing between West Cornwall Pasty Co and The Pasty Shop at Victoria, it is recommended to avoid The Pasty Shop. The pasty lacked flavor and the crust was not appetizing. The potato wedges were cold and flavorless. The prices were similar to West Cornwall, but the overall quality and taste of the food did not compare. While the two shops had similar aesthetics and offerings, West Cornwall was clearly superior in taste.
My wife bought two pasties late yesterday. The were completely desiccated, inedible. and thrown away. I suspect they had been drying up all day in a heater. There seemed to be no meat in it but the worse thing was only a dried up centre. We will never return and I would strongly discourage others from buying pasties there. We have had pasties there before but never like this.
Please try one of these for lunch between stops at Victoria, fills you up as you are shopping or trying to get to your next location. The steak was so good.
