Nur - Newham
Nur
Description
Nestled in East London, Nur Grill offers an eclectic dining experience that swings between delightful and disappointing. While the restaurant's grilled meats, particularly the Lahmacun and kebabs, have their admirers, critiques highlight inconsistencies in flavor and freshness. Some dishes are described as overly fatty or bland, overshadowing the potential of authentic Turkish fare. Service is generally friendly, contributing to a warm atmosphere, despite the occasional oversight on menu availability. For those seeking a casual meal without frills, Nur Grill remains a viable option, but discerning diners might want to explore further for true Turkish authenticity.

After we were recently pulled from stoke newington to waltham forest, we thought we would try this Turkish take that from the authentic menu. Great tasting kebab, plus a large selection menu. would recommend how to get salat and Turkish brot as well as a selection of rice or chips.
I dined at this restaurant in July 2017 and ordered a mixed shish. It was decent, with prices ranging from average to high. The food was fairly tasty. The chips weren't great, but this restaurant isn't specifically a chip shop so it's understandable. The kebab was okay, and the service was just average.
I recently had a quick takeaway from this restaurant and the Lamacun (Turkish Pizza) was amazing! With lettuce, onion, and both sauces, it was really delicious. A friend had the Halloumi wrap, which was also very tasty. Make sure to try the Turkish Tea as well. Overall, I will definitely be returning. It's a trip worth making!
