Nestled in East London, Nur Grill offers an eclectic dining experience that swings between delightful and disappointing. While the restaurant's grilled meats, particularly the Lahmacun and kebabs, have their admirers, critiques highlight inconsistencies in flavor and freshness. Some dishes are described as overly fatty or bland, overshadowing the potential of authentic Turkish fare. Service is generally friendly, contributing to a warm atmosphere, despite the occasional oversight on menu availability. For those seeking a casual meal without frills, Nur Grill remains a viable option, but discerning diners might want to explore further for true Turkish authenticity.

What Anonym dislikes about Nur:
After we were recently pulled from stoke newington to waltham forest, we thought we would try this Turkish take that from the authentic menu. Unfortunately, that was the worst Turkish food I've been experiencing since the move to london. we decided to order a lahmacun (rolled Turkish pizza) to share as a starter and at the arrival it was so thick with fat my wife disregarded her proportion after a bite. the worst but... I recently had a quick takeaway from this restaurant and the Lamacun (Turkish Pizza) was amazing! With lettuce, onion, and both sauces, it was really delicious. A friend had the Halloumi wrap, which was also very tasty. Make sure to try the Turkish Tea as well. Overall, I will definitely be returning. It's a trip worth making!

Yes there are better turkish resurtreants if you traval to north london but this is the best place in East London. The shop and decor are average but clean if your looking for a posh fancy place this is not it, however, if your after a good turkish meal on a budget its perfect. I even once met Ronnie o'sullivan in here.

I visited the restaurant and was disappointed with the lack of flavor in the food, poor service, unpleasant smell in the establishment, and subpar restroom conditions. Despite these shortcomings, prices are reasonable for the area. I would not recommend this restaurant, as there is little chance of experiencing authentic Turkish cuisine when it is operated by Pakistani individuals.

I dined at this restaurant in July 2017 and ordered a mixed shish. It was decent, with prices ranging from average to high. The food was fairly tasty. The chips weren't great, but this restaurant isn't specifically a chip shop so it's understandable. The kebab was okay, and the service was just average.
