delicious food and the personal and very friendly. I try every time I visit different dishes from the menu. I don't try to order burger or baguettes and in the regular steaks or huh that is always really beautiful. because there is a small restaurant, there is not much private sphere, so everyone can hear quite a lot their conversation. Besides, I really like to eat here and I'll eat here. View all feedback.
What Thiru R doesn't like about Mexican Grille:
Place looks ok. Food is not up to any standard at all. Went with a group of friends. Restaurant was empty but refused to allow us to sit next to the window even though it was empty on a Friday night at 8 pm. Ordered water it took ages after asking twice. Steak was the worst I have had eaten in my whole life. We had to go to MC Donald's afterward because we didn't enjoy the food at all. Very disappointed for the money... View all feedback.

I would not recommend dining at this restaurant as the food appears to be reheated and of poor quality. You may be disappointed with your experience here.
We visited this restaurant three times this year. The first meal was enjoyable, but the quality declined with each visit. The chips were green and undercooked, the burger was cold and raw in the middle, and every dish seemed to taste the same. The last meal made us feel sick and we had to throw it away. We will not be ordering food from this restaurant again.

When there were plenty of other good Mexican restaurants we chose the wrong one.
A group of us made the mistake of wandering into this place, simply because it was different from all the other mainly South Indian restaurants on High St North. The waiter wouldn't let us sit by the window, and join 2 tables together there were 5 of us , even though the place was completely empty at 8pm on a Friday night. That should have set alarm bells ringing, but we were hungry. We had to ask TWICE for the drinks, even though 3 of us were only having tap water. We had to actually ASK for plates when the starters came. They expected us to eat off the serving platters?? The starters were ok, but took 25 mins to come. The nachos were just lazily topped with a bit of melted cheese. Two of us ordered the T-bone steak, medium rare. When they arrived, they were the smallest T-bone I've ever been served, and over cooked to well done. I alerted the waiter, who then took 10 mins to get back to me. He told me the chef had said the steaks were medium rare. I seriously doubt if the chef even knows what medium rare means. We were hungry, so we just ate them. No steak knives were provided. We had to eat a well done steak with an ordinary knife and fork. The place remained empty while we were there. I seriously don't see this place open for long. The food, service, ambiance are well below par, even by the standards of High St North. The prices are also way too high for what you get served.
