This lovely café offers the perfect coffee and friendly service. I had a wonderful experience this morning. If I lived in Newcastle, this would be my go-to spot. The atmosphere is cozy with plenty of books to peruse. The comfortable seating and friendly staff make it a great place to relax and enjoy. View all feedback.
One of the coolest vibes in every caffeine I was. at another day it went by and went 20 minutes away from mine just to get in. had a chai latte that was unrealistic and could drink it while a look at a few travel books. well decorated and can not emphasize how cool this place is. friendly staff. would take friends here if I visited newcastle.
Gorgeous little shop with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Delicious coffee and a wonderful variety of books. I walked away with two books despite telling myself I was only browsing. The writers' festival event was fantastic an informative, fun, and intimate place to mingle and get to know other aspiring individuals. Despite the rather torential rain outside the door!
Took a box of books and the owner was honest by stating she couldn't afford to buy sll of the books due to value. I got a some first editions to still sell and a very reasonable price for the books she bought. Honesty professional staff. Oh yeah the coffee is **** beautiful. You can read a book while you drink your hot drinks. Also has bands playing, check the Press Coffee and books staff for those details.
Peaceful and calm , just a perfect place to relax and enjoy a cuppa . The coffee is spot on
Oufffff. What a great place. Excellent strong smooth coffee. Splendid peanut butter cups (i had 3, only for the strong IMHO) Flavoursome carrot cake. Scrumptious lemon blueberry cake. If i live in Newcastle this place would definitely be my local haunt.
