The photo with the coke is th... read more Been here numerous time now. Now that's value. $10 fish and chips (hoki). Even Comes with the sauce! Tried the barramundi as well. The photo with the coke is the $40 family pack 4 hoki, 8 calamari, chips and the drink! The crumbed fish is the better option for takeaway. Only problem is the parking.

The new store is much... read more The best seafood in Hamilton. More variety with higher quality seafood at cheaper pries than their nearby competitors. Good staff service. The new store is much better than the old store down the road. This new store has outdoor seating on a quiet road, fully undercover. Unlimited free water, sauces, salt pepper satchels and cutlery. Great place to go on weekends to relax and unwind.

The crumbed hoki and battered mullet were perfectly crispy, with a beautiful golden-brown color. The grilled baby octopus was tender, buttery, and just the right amount of chewy and sweet. I had a wonderful dinner today, and I'm grateful to this shop. I hope it remains a favorite for my wife and me for years to come!"

I ordered fish and chips, and while the crumbed calamari was exceptional, the prawn cutlet was mostly breading rather than prawn. I won't be ordering the cutlets again unless they change the recipe. The fresh fish is still consistently good.

On another visit, we enjoyed the potato scallops and calamari. It’s great to have a local shop that offers these options so close for those of us on the north side.
