Walked past this cafe a few times always going to other cafes in the same street. Decided to finally try and Honey Espresso Bar did not disappoint. One word... yum! Nice strong coffee! Greeted by friendly staff and served quickly. Was a nice way to spend the morning sitting outside. Will be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Honey Cafe:
Popped in here for coffee for the first time the other day. It is a small place but nice location on Hunter street. Somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. The food choice is pretty limited though but I don't know the quality. I would probably stop fr coffee here again. View all feedback.

Being new to Newcastle, we arrived at our hotel famished after an early flight. We strolled down Hunter Street and stumbled upon a charming cafe on a sunny corner. The staff was welcoming, and our delicious toast and jam paired perfectly with a cup of Earl Grey tea with honey. It was the perfect way to start our day of exploring.
A little gem on Hunter Street. The smashed avocado (mashed avocado and sliced cherry tomatoes on toast and sprinkled with dukkah) was delicious. Maybe a greater drinks selection would be a good idea. (and TripAdvisor, it's called Honey Espresso Bar not Honey Cafe)
I stopped in for coffee at this place for the first time the other day. It is a small establishment but in a nice location on Hunter Street. It's a great spot to sit and people watch. However, the food selection is quite limited and I can't speak to the quality, but overall, I would likely come back for coffee.
Great tea and coffee. Great owner. The prices and quality are awesome. Right on the heart of Hunter. Refreshing change of pace.
