Delucas Pizza - Newcastle

Until recently we'd only had take away from Delucas but I am so glad we went in and ate in the restaurant. It's a small restaurant but great for a date night for two or small group of friends. Weeknights are BYO but the wine selection is wonderful and the staff is happy to recommend a great bottle if you're there on a weekend night. We had the rosemary bread entree and the pumpkin pizza for dinner. Both were fantastic and I am looking forward to trying more of the pizzas while my partner can't wait to try a pasta. The staff was so lovely and treated us like family even telling us to stay and enjoy our night as they were cleaning and we were the last two in the restaurant. There's no doubt we will be back for dinner at Delucas again. Thank you for a wonderful night!!

First time at the restaurant and will definitely be back. Food was delicious! Great wine list. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Small, cosy place.

Had an amazing meal. Staff and the owner were so nice. The overall atmosphere was incredible. Highly recommend as their serving sizes were perfect. Definitely coming back in the future. Thank you so much for an amazing night.

Such a lovely intimate dining experience. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Absolutely loved the zuchini flowers and gorgonzola stuffed figs which were recommended to us by our host. I haven't found another restaurant that can make gnocchi anywhere near the standard of Delucas. The arrancini balls are also a must. Dessert was the smoothest textured panacotta I've ever had, beautifully flavoured with vanilla bean. This place will be my regular when visiting Newcastle. My recommendation is to take a group and order everything on the menu and try it all. You won't be disappointed.

The Gnocchi was amazing, as was the zucchini flowers! Highly recommend Delucas for quality food in Newcastle. I'll be back for sure!
