What KLWanderer likes about Wing Kee Hong Kong Style Cafe:
Enjoyed the meal, value for money and fast and efficient table service. The congee was a bit too watered and bland for me but the dough sticks were delicious. The portions are big and on overall it is an unpretentious good value for money eatery. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Wing Kee Hong Kong Style Cafe:
Stay clear of this place. What was served to us could best be described as a congealed slop. Restaurant was best described as dirty, service lacklustre (limited interaction from staff). There are much better offerings along Stowell Street you would be advised to try them. This is one place that we will never cross the threshold again. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in Newcastle's Chinatown, Wing Kee (Hong Kong Style Cafe) offers a nostalgic taste of home for some diners. The atmosphere transports guests to a cha chaan teng in Hong Kong, with decor, food, and ambiance that feels authentic. The Yung Chow fried rice and chicken feet are highlights, while the Egg fried rice and Chicken sweetcorn soup are standouts for others. The staff are friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. With a variety of dishes to choose from, including stir-fried noodles with chicken and veg/chicken gyoza, this restaurant is a must-visit gem in the heart of Chinatown.
