Twin Farms is a charming local pub that my friend introduced me to, and I absolutely love it. The interior is very traditional, with stone walls, wooden floors, and furniture. I recently enjoyed a delicious Sunday evening dinner there, featuring the best turnip I've ever had and perfectly fluffy Yorkshire puddings. The food is tasty and the menu offers a good variety, with reasonably priced starters and main courses.... View all feedback.
What Oliver Wilkinson doesn't like about Twin Farms Sir John Fitzgerald:
I used to love coming to this restaurant for Sunday dinner, but today I was disappointed. The prices were high and the food quality was poor. The pork was dry and flavorless, and the vegetables were tasteless and scarce. The staff didn't seem to care that we were unhappy with our meal. After many years of being a customer, I won't be returning until I hear that the restaurant has improved its quality. View all feedback.

I recently enjoyed a delicious Sunday evening dinner there, featuring the best turnip I've ever had and perfectly fluffy Yorkshire puddings. The food is tasty and the menu offers a good variety, with reasonably priced starters and main courses. The drinks are also reasonably priced, with a great selection of beers. It's a cozy spot, perfect for a romantic date or a casual get-together with friends. I highly recommend Twin Farms for a Sunday meal, and the beer garden is especially lovely on a sunny afternoon.
We often come here for lunch. This week, we ordered something from the lunch menu as usual. The prices haven't changed much, but now they don't come with chips, so it feels like a significant price hike! Paying a high price for a small piece of focaccia bread with a few small snacks on the side seems excessive. However, we can always choose to take our business elsewhere.
Here we go for a meal if we want to be confident of the quality and richness. it is a particularly safe bet to take the parents, there is always something for the conservative taste on the menu, but much to satisfy the more adventurous feeder. they make a lot of dishes with an oriental influence that I always enjoy. the service is consistently friendly, also in the crazy look forward to the party and celebration that is silvester on tyneside. the actual building is very attractive. it looks like an old building house, but in the did new built on the ground of an old farm.
Go regularly for lunch. This week had, as usual, something from the lunch menu. Prices are much the same as alway but now they are served without chips, so in effects a large price rise! for a small piece of focaccia bread with a few vegetables on top is a bit beyond the pale. Never mind, we can just vote with our feet!
