North Terrace - Newcastle upon Tyne

Busiest I've ever seen it although not a regular. Hand sanitizer at entrance, one way system marked but ignored by some. Staff on at about 4pm 20/8 very helpful and friendly. Limited on real cider but Symonds ok.

Popped in for a pub lunch on a Saturday for the pizza and a pint for £10 deal. Very friendly and friendly, sat in a cozy corner with our Pram and enjoyed the rustic aesthetics of the bar. We ordered the Godfather and Notorious Big Pizzas with two of the pub's own ales, a lemon and a plate of Dirty Curly fries for about £30. We have seen how the cooks made the homemade pizzas in the kitchen window and they were phenomenal! Crispy and chewing sourdough base and fantastic toppings. They had no baby change for us, understandably with him was a pub, but were very accommodating. 10/10, definitely back!

It was there for a meal with my son. The place had a wonderful atmosphere and the staff were really welcome and were super helpful. We ordered a dinner and the food was fantastic. The whole vegetables were fresh (no of this frozen stuff) really crispy and full of taste. The meat was also amazingly prepared with it, so it just fell apart. I will go back and have told a number of my friends and would recommend looking for a friendly pub with a fab atmosphere with great food and a good price.

A quick cheeseburger and pommes. The young lady and the boss were super, very pleasant, very professional. Very recommended.

Great atmosphere and good selection of caught beer. Also they kitchen serving is quite fast and the pizzas are really nice. Great offer pizza and pint for a tenner you can't beat. Would definitely be back next time in Newcastle
