La Petite Creperie

Really enjoyed my lemon and sugar crêpe, definitely an authentic french style unlike others in town. Such a friendly and helpful owner too. Highly recommend La Petite Crêperie :

I visited this restaurant on a bustling Saturday afternoon and ordered a cheese, spinach, and mushroom galette, which was absolutely delicious. The galette was perfectly crispy without being dry, and the combination of cheese, spinach, and mushrooms was balanced perfectly. The crepe itself had a unique and flavorful taste that was slightly bitter and umami. Despite not being a huge crepe fan, I was impressed by the quality of the dish. La Petite Crepe has definitely earned all the positive reviews, and it made me wish I could live in Newcastle to visit again.

This excellent creperie is operated by a French gentleman who serves authentic food at affordable prices. There are only a few seats available for dining in, but the traditional galettes made from buckwheat are naturally gluten-free. The restaurant is located inside the covered market, just a 5-minute walk from the central station.

A lovely Creperie where you can enjoy delicious crepes along with a warm welcome and friendly conversation. The atmosphere is laid-back and perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Stop by Julius at the Grainger market, you won't be disappointed!
