What Ryan H doesn't like about Koh-i-noor:
Curry was mild walk, tikka was bland, naan bread stale and poppadoms chewy. Do not eat here. It says a lot when a Wetherspoons curry is better than a local Indians. View all feedback. What User likes about Koh-i-noor:
early on Wednesday evening, this restaurant opened in 1969 and eating is still excellent. there was no one when we arrived shortly after 19 o'clock, they won't let it go. the decor must also be updated, but eating is typical, real, good Indian cuisine. View all feedback.

read moreSituated in the heart of Newcastle, this long-standing Indian restaurant elicits a spectrum of reactions. Patrons have enjoyed flavorful dishes and warm, accommodating service, particularly after a night out. Yet, many express dissatisfaction, citing bland food, unappetizing starters, and unclean facilities. While some appreciate the generous portions and affordable weekday specials, detractors criticize the dated decor and rude management. Despite the charm it holds for regulars, newcomers may leave questioning the quality of both food and service. This establishment appears to struggle under the weight of its history, reflecting a need for rejuvenation and improved hospitality.
The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful by raising his voice.
Worst experience ever..rude manager, tasteless food.
