My friend and I visited El Torrero last night (Friday, April 28th). It was my friend's first time experiencing Spanish cuisine. I chose this restaurant because I have had positive experiences here before, but I was extremely disappointed this time. The service was terrible and the staff seemed unconcerned. First of all to this hidden secret of tapas joy....food and choice excellent. attentive staff. good the price worth..had the set menu of the tapas for 5 of us.
We arrived at 7.30 on an extremely busy Thursday and got a table for two immediately. our food came very fast and was delicious. the wee was beautiful. there is a great atmosphere here and the staff very efficient. this would be our first choice for tapas when they visit newcadtle again and would certainly recommend it to friends.

I have been going to this tapas restaurant for years and ive never had a bad meal. the personal is fantastic and so friendly and its excellent value for money. my opinion this is the best tapas restaurant in the city x
So much choice nice staff loved the food couldn't fault it will be back highly recommend
