This pub is brilliant for coeliac and veggie coeliacs. Really safe lovely food. Sunday lunch, proper chips, burgers etc etc. I’ve eaten here loads of times. Gluten free lager too!!! View all feedback.

Dive into the city tavern to get a quick refreshment while buying Christmas. the festive menu was too good to miss the shopping opportunities and remained for great food, service and drinks. will be back on our next shopping trip
Old world, classic, great beer excellent food. dog-friendly. probably the best Kovid separation facility in every pup in newcastle. fish finger and muddy heap sandwich
What a shady box this place is in the city center. great personal dog, friendly, beautiful sitting area and fantastic eating. we had the Christmas Set menu. so much delicious food. big scream also after dean. many thanks! they were mine
Lovely friendly city centre bar. Drink was served well and G&T was delicious with the added raspberries and strawberries, nice little touch. Comfy seats and menu looked good but cannot comment on food as didn't try it this time.
A excellent pub in the city centre, a good choice of beers and wines, and good food. Recommended.
