Lunched here last week. Service was a bit slow but the food was very good. I can certainly recommend it at luchtimes.
Went for lunch, recently refurbished. Good selection of ales. The food was reasonably priced and was very very nice to eat. No complaints, waited a little while and it wasn't busy. But that's all really.
We use this put quite regular and find it welcoming with great food and a vast variety of drinks. It caters for everyone couple, sports fans, families.

We go every Friday to this pub for lunch from work and i normally pay around £4 for my baguette with an offer of a pint for £1 now the offer has changed the last time i went i had to pay £9 something which is a massive difference. It cost me nearly £2 for 5 chips. We are now looking to go elsewhere as i can get a cheaper lunch in the town centre and this doesn't seem such a bargain lunch anymore.
