beware of the four people who were today. I went a friend for a few drinks and a pick up (1-3pm) the place was busy, there were only 2 behind the bar 2 persons serving to eat. all 4 of them were politely smiling when they had to do with a customer or passed by a customer. not even one of them has dropped their guard or picked up because it was hot. What JoBo240 doesn't like about Hungry Horse:
Ordered chicken kebab menu said seasoned fries they had a bottle of paprika or something similar tipped over them totally inedible. Ordered children's food for the grandkids and they had to eat with adult cutlery you would think childrens meals would come with children cutlery?. Very disappointed won't be eating here again. I did this job myself, so I know in 20 plus heat, it's not easy. when I was in the past, one or two employees were rude or it seemed worth more than their jobs, but today was teamwork. you should be proud of her
Went here for a meal last night, had the seafood platter, was delicious, hubby had huge gammon, all in all meals was very nice, sohn had speck and cheeseburger, staff were good, will defo come back xx
After a great family meal here. it was an 18th birthday and there were 20 of us in total, 8 children included. when we arrived, it had the production of a busy evening. we have placed a multiple order with the same table number, but all paid separately and we asked that the child meals come first. the meals that arrive at the table about 15 minutes after the first order. we were amazed at how fast everything arrived, no one waited. the food was delicious and the staff was very helpful all night. the manager mainly took the time to check how the meal had gone. the atmosphere made a special occasion very pleasant and we would return here definitiw for future meals.
Yesterday for a meal immersed, but had reserved most of the tables, but the personal where very courteous and and and sat me and my girlfriend in a standing, eating was amazing and very good inexpensive, we will return and I would return to any couple or family looking for a good meal with a beautiful environment!
Lovely environment. Friendly staff. Absolutely fantastic food. We went for a post funeral buffet, the variety of food was incredible. Special dietary needs were catered for. Take out boxes and bags were provided to take the excess food home. Very impressed, would definitely recommend a visit.
