Bishops Cuts/color - Newcastle

When I first came here, I paid $42 plus another $8 for a fade. the fade was in order, it didn't have as good as I wanted, and the guy didn't even tell me or fade it to my bart. I had to get up and mix myself in my bart when I came home. so much for a $50 cut. Yesterday I came to give him a second chance. I waited 20 minutes after my appointment, just to let a hairdresser look in the eyes, to tell me that she couldn't rejuvenate. I've never seen a hairdresser who looks so scared. there was no possibility that she would cut my hair. they relocated me with another barber today. I decided to cancel my reap 3 hours and 55 minutes before my appointment and they charged me 8 dollars in storno fee (perhaps I was 5 minutes too late for their policy). at least I have to fund my money. I never write reviews, but this place should not be 5 stars if their hairseurs cannot even fade properly. do not come here for a fade, and expect to pay a pretty penny for great clips results. services: haircut

Very disappointed with Skye. She was unprofessional.Lots of uneven cuts. One side too short than other side etc… She should be ashamed of herself. I had to go to different salon to fix her mess. Maybe I was already having a good day when I came in, but I think I can honestly say this was my best haircut experience ever, and I've been through a third (hopefully) of my lifespan! Fenris has a spectacular sense of style that clearly translates into the cuts he does. I love my haircut and will definitely be coming back here for my next one.Service: Haircut

This was my 4th visit and the last 2 were, by far, the best. Brandi listened and understood what I wanted last time in a cut color, this time just a cut, and she delivered. I like that the services are ala carte--no one knows how to style my hair after a cut and I'd rather do it myself so it's nice not to have to pay for that! Bishop's doesn't carry my favorite hair care line, so I'd rather wash my hair at home; nice not to have to pay for that, either. I love that there's always a special going on, too!Service: Haircut

Ok not great. I've had two haircuts here with two different stylists, and neither one impressed me. On the second one there were visible patches in my fade. They're unfortunately $20 haircuts at best, but you're paying double that.To be completely fair, I haven't had any color done. So if that's what you're looking for then they might deserve a shot. But as far as a standard short haircut I don't think this place is worth it. A bummer, since the vibe in this place is great and the staff are really friendly.
