Loretta - Newburyport

During our visit to Newburyport from Las Vegas, we dined at this restaurant. On our first night, we were unable to get a table for four, so we made a reservation for another evening. The service we received was mostly attentive, and the food was enjoyable. Among the various restaurants we tried in the area, this one stood out as one of the better options.

Loretta's was fantastic! They offer a Sunday brunch, but you can also order from their regular menu. The food was superb and reasonably priced. When I visited, a jazz trio was performing, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere.

The staff at this restaurant were quite unpleasant, and the food was merely average. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return, especially with so many better dining options in the area.

Never disappoints. Great lunch and dinner items. Relaxed atmosphere. Good people. Outdoor seating, too.

First time eating at Loretta in Newburyport and it did not disappoint. We did not have a reservation, but luckily they had a table inside available and took us right in. Our waitress Fiona, was fantastic! She was sweet, knowledgeable about the menu, provided great service and treated us like we were family. Overall the experience was great, even though we could not get a table outside the ambiance of the indoor dining was just as good as outside. We had the shrimp scampi, steak frites and the halibut special, which were all delicious. We'll be back again to try more of the great looking items on the menu. Thanks for a great dinner!!!!
