Hana Japan - Newburyport

This is a wonderful restaurant! The sushi is truly incredible! My family absolutely loves it, and we ended up ordering far more rolls than we anticipated, but the total cost was still very reasonable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfectly balanced and well managed. Our server was exceptional. I had some trouble pronouncing certain Japanese words, but he was very understanding and helpful with my struggles. I highly recommend this place! There aren't many seats, so it's best not to bring a large crowd, but a group of three works perfectly!

However, there aren’t many seats, so it’s best not to come with a large group. A party of three is just right!

I visited this restaurant for lunch and ordered the Bento boxes, which I can't recommend highly enough! My partner chose some fantastic seafood options, while I opted for the Veggie Bento, which was equally delicious. It's a cozy spot that far surpassed my expectations, and the staff were incredibly friendly!

I had this place on my list to try for awhile, especially due to the amount of vegan options! We finally tried this place and will definitely come back. All we had was delicious. My partner, who is not vegan, also agreed everything we had was delicious. The sushi can quickly become expensive, but it is high quality and creative so you get what you pay. I got the vegan ramen and was impressed by the portion- it was ugly and worth every penny. It cost a pretty penny.

Excellent food, and wonderful service. They only offer dine-in from 7pm-8:30pm, but they offer takeout from 5pm.
