Hands down, one of the best meals I've had in ages! I love Indian food and Chipotle, and Zaikka marries the two perfectly. The tandoori chicken was so moist, and I loved the spicy dal curry I got-good heat, but the additional flavors came through too. The naan bread was a little on the sweet side, but it really balanced out the other spices. Can't wait to come back in town and eat here again! View all feedback.
Pretty mild Indian food, decent, but missing that sharp flavor I like. That being said, the food was still tasty, fresh, and delicious! The place was super clean and service was friendly. I'd come back again definitely.
Love that Wilmington has a fast casual Indian place! Serving wise it reminds me a lot of Chipotle, I can mix a lot of yummy things together and get exactly what I want. Spice levels vary, but the hot dishes are strong enough without being over powering. Flavors are fresh and bright despite items being served buffet style. The owner is always friendly and happy to serve good food.

Zaikka is in one of the rows of stores in Center Pointe Plaza. This restaurant is rather like an Indian version of Chipotle. Their main offering is a choice of rice or bread, a choice of meat/tofu, a choice of curry, and any number of toppings you like. Put the four together and you have a meal. They also have a few side items and a separate 'street food ' menu, which I didn 't try this time. All in all, it 's a good variety. I thought the spicy toppings and curries were decently spicy, while the mild items were less spicy but still had flavor. I would not expect authentic Indian food here but I 'd take it for what it is: a clean, fast, and no-fuss place to get something a lot more interesting than the usual fast food.
I love the cafe style of this restaurant. The helpful woman behind the counter, immediately asked if I was a vegetarian/vegan, and offered samples of various foods and spice levels to see what I wanted to try... Everything was very tasty. Ended up with Kadai Paneer Wrap which was pretty damn good! I will definitely return in the near future, after 3 pm to try their various small plate items. Other staff members were friendly as well, always asking if we were enjoying our food and checking to see if we needed anything, very different from your typical cafe establishment.
