However, whe... read more My sister and I decided to grab a bite to eat and play some Keno on Saturday night, as my sister is a frequent visitor to The Old Bag of Nails Pub. However, when we arrived, the Keno machine was out of order. My sister suggested using the app and asked the bartender if she could scan her play. The bartender replied, "I can’t do that," and when my sister insisted she must know how, the bartender simply said, "No." She then informed us that they were instructed not to assist with lottery-related activities as it detracts from other customers. It was surprising, as most people who come to play Keno typically enjoy food and drinks. Ultimately, we decided to leave and went to Don Sue's Pizza instead for our meal and game.

The fish portions were generous, and the coleslaw was fantastic. The overall vibe of the place was very pleasant, and it was spotless. The staff was welcoming and friendly, especially our server Christine, who was excellent. We definitely plan to return before we leave Ohio. However, the last two were... read more I ordered takeout from The Old Bag Of Nails Pub Newark. The first two burgers I had were amazing, possibly the best I've ever tasted. However, the last two were disappointing and likely the worst I've experienced. They were overcooked and excessively salty. I’m not sure what happened, as I only ordered again because the first two were so perfect. This third experience turned out to be a big mistake. My husband ended up feeling very sick and mentioned his burger had an odd flavor that didn't seem right. Now, I'm also experiencing severe stomach pain. We ordered through Uber Eats and would like to request a refund. Food: 1, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5, Price per person: $10–20.
