Round Table Pizza - Newark

Never write reviews, but had to! Ordered a X-Large pepperoni with extra cheese! Got home opened up the box to a disappointment of a pizza especially for being a Round Table Pizza! It looked over cooked (burnt), half looked like it had no cheese and barely any pepperoni! Their pizzas are on the pricier side too! Now I used a coupon, I don’t know if that had anything to do with it, which it should not…that’s just bad business! I paid for extra cheese, I got what looked like light to no cheese! I don’t know if it was a pizza that didn’t get picked up and they just reheated it to get rid of which resulted in a burnt and dry pizza! What ever it is, it’s just bad business! Honestly to push that out to a customer! And how shady to give it to me like that knowing I’m picking it up and probably won’t check it! Damn I feel like I have to check what I’m taking home now! Sad! I don’t know if I can honestly just blame the workers bc I doubt they are going to try and be that skimpy, or petty (bc of coupon) and if they are like that then damn to that too! At least don’t give customers an old reheated pizza or even if it was accidentally over cooked, come on fix the situation! Honestly don’t need a comment back, just do better! I just want to be able to get what I paid for!

I stopped in for lunch. Had the #1 lunch special, personal pizza, salad and a drink for $13.28 including tax. Nice salad bar to make you own salad with a good variety of fresh veggies. Pizza came out hot and was really good. Left full and happy with little damage done to the wallet. Dining room seating needs some attention. No one wants to sit on ripped vinyl seats.

Had to call corporate, store wouldn't answer the phone!!!!! Whole family ILL with stomach ailments. Not the place to go for round table... STAY AWAY FROM THE SALAD!!!!!!!

Pizza great as usual. Service a little slow on second pizza, but the place was swamped, so I get it.

The food is what you should already be aware of if you've tried it before. This is more for the atmosphere of the place. It still looks like it is in COVID lockdown. Very dark, places closed off, and mask wearing employees. Not exactly a criticism, but making the place look depressing. The food, however, is great! Love the pizza!
