I had a great experience at this restaurant. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, and the seafood was exceptionally fresh. The bacon-wrapped scallops were especially impressive, and I have high standards for seafood since I come from the Seattle area, where fresh seafood is abundant! What Narc Peralta doesn't like about Pier 98 Sushi Grill:
This is a typical sushi boat restaurant. The barstools are more spacious than at most places. However, I was disappointed that it took a long time to be seated, even though half of the tables and barstools were empty. The food is satisfying, but the portions are smaller than average. The prices are competitive. They also offer mixed drinks alongside bottled beers and sake. View all feedback.
Nice selection of regular and specialty sushi rolls, nigri sushi, ramen and udon bowls, as well as typical dinners. Comfortable seating good service.
Great veggie options, and very friendly/helpful service
Food is wonderful and they offer a good variety. However, when the restaurant starts to fill up with folks, it gets a little spotty with food arriving on time. Everything came but we had to ask for this or that of what was ordered. They need at least two more servers on the weekend.
Wonderful exotic specialities for a sushi restaurant. Nice atmosphere, shared lively talk with party next to us. Food came to table very timely and I could not wait for our next order to arrive. Come one, come all.
Last time we came was for dinner and service was much better less busy. Food was still very good.
