I love the Cuban sandwiches from this place the bread is beautiful it's crisp and perfectly toasted, the ham tastes fresh and not like from a deli. Overall it's my favorite place to get a Cuban sandwich. They have a walk-up window that I usually go to and it's a slight language barrier I speak English they speak Spanish but we eventually figure out what I'm getting. It's a great place to stop in if you're in Newark View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Omars Cafe:
This place isn't what it used to be since I first came here with my mom when I was 8 years old. There were no napkins, and they didn't provide any utensils for eating. The atmosphere felt off. It used to be a restaurant I frequented with my mom, but after today's experience, I won't be returning. It seems like it's under new management. View all feedback.
Love the food and place and prices are good too. The place is nice and clean.
North side number one hands down chicken sandwich cuban sandwich.
I moved to FL 7 years ago and have never found a place as good as Omar's. I'm currently visiting NY and had to take the commute to buy the best Bistec sandwich ever!! Awesome friendly staff as well! 5 stars for me!
