The lady just ignored us the whole time we was sitting in the section upstairs and was serving others next to us. I approached her if someone isattending the tables she is like you have to order down here we had to get up and order the food and asked for a menu she toldus theirs no menu people took them we don’t have none. I order orange juice theirs no oranges and the machine that I could seewas pouring orange juice. I told her but the machine is on with oranges. That’s when she gave me lil of orange juice and toldme that’s was it. Also we waited for our food for a long time. Not recommended at all!! Need to better with staffing the girlhad an attitude the whole time!!

It honestly was a place I will come with mom a lot but after today experience. I won’tbe going back. Seems to be under new management.

I 'm heartbroken at how the quality of the food and service has declined. I 'm not sure if it 's new management, but this is not the Omar 's I remember. Theplace was empty which it never used to be. The food tasted bland which never happened. I didn 't see the usual cook, there was alady at the grill who I 've never before seen and who obviously doesn 't know how to put some sazón on the food. The staff seemsdifferent, the young lady in the front came off as lazy and acted like she didn 't want to be there. Overall a complete drop instandards. Unbecoming of El Rey del Pan con bistec so sad to have to write this review. One star for my childhood memories Ihave here. Years ago I would not have had an issue paying high prices for the food but now it 's just overpriced for food that 'snot up to par to say the least.

I ordered a cuban sandwich and I was given a sandwich that had hardly any meat and it had pieces of napkins inside the Sandwich and a piece of burnt bay leave. I had to put pickles at home when Iordered the sandwich with pickles. I then called the place to notify of the horrible state of the sandwich..they said the ownerwill call back but i highly doubt it. Omar isn't the same as a few years ago. Disgusting food and staff! King of disgusting????! I am very upset!

Came to visit the Cafe after 2 years away being Florida because it was my favorite place to eat brought in 4 friends to share my experience with them since they... read more Came to visit the Cafe after 2 years away being Florida because it was my favorite place to eat brought in 4 friends to share my experience with them since they had never been there before and I was embarrassed by the way one of my friends received herfood. She ask for bbq rib pieces and yellow rice she complained to the staff that it was dry and hard to eat. The staff walkedaway without acknowledging or asking what was going on. When we went to the register to pay she was charged 20 dollars for adish she didn't eat. The customer saw the billed and ask if this was a error and the staff said No, these are our prices. Thecustomer asked but I didn't eat the food can you give me something else to compensate the 20 bill. The staff asked anotheremployee she said No because if she does that the owner would charge the staff out of her pay. I write this review as a one star ???? which really should have been a 0. We do not treat customers like that now they have lost 5 customers including mebecause of this embarrassing moment. Never again I will ever recommend any customer or friends to visit Omar's Cafe. By the waywhat restaurant has no water to sell to customers.
