Ordered the waffl... read more Tried this place for lunch. Nice elegant spacious inside, but food is very expensive for its quality. We got the deviled egg which was decent. Ordered the waffle and chicken for entree. Waffle tasted great, it had a hot honey layer on it, making itsweeter. The chicken was deep fried, not to my liking but I was okay with it. It is a huge plate to finish. Service was nice,food does take a while (about 15 minutes) to come out, when the restaurant is not even busy!!

We ordered the cornbread, which we heard is his signature, and it was delicious (served with whipped fluffybutter). We also got the wings and the lamb meatballs for appetizers and they were both well executed. Then for dinner we gotthe burger and the chicken and waffles. I asked for the burger medium-rare and they said they couldn't but the burger was stilljuicy and the waffle fries were well seasoned (ask to make them crispy). The chicken and waffles were outstanding and I likethat the chicken was boneless (thighs). I would suggest asking for extra syrup on the side, because the edges of the waffle werea little dry.
