This is now one of my top restaurants to visit in Delaware. The Kalbi Gui, bulgogi and gun mandoo are Phenomenal. The service was wonderful and they even helped us with the barbecue since we let them know it was our first time. Such a great restaurant and nice staff. I can't wait to go back!Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheelchair accessible View all feedback.
Had such an amazing meal here! The side dishes are so good. I ordered bbq and hot pot everything was delicious. I like that we got to cook our own food on the grill!Food: 5/5
Our favorite Korean restaurant hands down! We've been coming here for years and bring family and friends whenever they're in town. Service is always attentive and friendly. It feels like we are family. They make the BEST green onion salad, kimchi, banchan, ojingeo bokkeum (spicy squid), tofu teriyaki, and yangnyeom-tongdak (sweet sour fried chicken). They serve it all fresh and fast. Also, I'm not sure why a previous reviewer was told she could not dine in as a single guest. As we were dining tonight, a single woman came in to dine solo, and she was served without incident. I don't want to discredit someone else's experience, but after reading that review, I paid more attention to their customer service and did not witness any rudeness or disrespect from the staff toward guests.
Bulgogi was amazing. Service was friendly and fast once we ordered. Large portions too, worth the price. We really enjoyed it and reminded us of being back in South Korea. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
I actually opened this restaurant with my ex-wife Kyong (Sally) and business partner Charlie Yu over 30 years ago. I was out of the picture the 90s and then the restaurant ownership changed hands. I was still a loyal customer and continue to visit this restaurant over the years....until today. I can handle the price increase in this economy, but I can not handle rude, disrespectful service. The waitress definitely needs to learn people skills. She slammed the severely under filled banchan bowls down as if she was angry, and then never checked on us one time. She did not even bring the check to us, so I went to the register to pay and get a take-out box. We also did not get any cabbage leafs with the bulgogi. So, after dozens of great experiences over the years, I will not be returning. There is a new Korean restaurant near Christiana Hospital that will now get our business.
The food was excellent, but I was disappointed with the service from my waitress. She placed her tray in the center of our table, which made it difficult for us to enjoy our meal comfortably, as the food ended up on one side. Additionally, the restaurant was quite hot, and it was distracting to see the waitress standing right next to our table, fanning herself and speaking animatedly in what I assume was Korean. While I understand that it was a hot day, it made me uncomfortable as a paying customer to see her fanning herself so closely to my food. It felt unprofessional. To top it off, she called out a loud "goodbye" when we were finished, which gave the impression that she wanted us to leave quickly. Overall, her demeanor left me feeling unwelcome, and if I return, I would prefer to avoid her service.
